Olivia Bee gets featured in PDN Photo Annual issue

Olivia Bee’s emerging style is gaining recognition throughout the industry, most notably in PDN’s “The Year in Photography” article, which highlighted the most important trends, developments, and milestones around the world of photography.

PDN highlighted Olivia’s free-spirited and youthful imagery for the Nike 6.0 lookbook, alongside the work of Ryan McGinley for Levi’s Go Forth campaign. Their fly on the wall, slice-of-life approach is setting the paradigm for youth culture and imagery with its authentic natural feel.

Olivia Bee Lands the Cover of Foam International Photography Magazine

Foam Magazine uses Olivia Bee imagery in honor of Spring. In their latest issue called “Happy Issue” a collection of work was chosen to represent a cheerful lust of life, Olivia’s work was chosen and featured in a 16 page photo spread accompanied by a wonderful 4 page article by Ken Miller who beautifully recounts Olivia’s connection to photography as well as her emerging style. This collection of photographs perfectly showcases Olivia Bee’s natural ability to visually capture moments. These moments often exude overwhelming feelings of nostalgia, youthfulness, and a romantic idea of what it is like to be a young adult in the world today.

Highlights for Olivia Bee 2010

Candace Gelman and Associates is excited to tell Olivia Bee’s story! Olivia joined CG&A in 2010. Her entire life has been documented since the early age of 11 through her camera. Olivia quickly realized that her camera was the perfect tool to tell her tale of the rainbow of emotions and experiences of teenage life. Like a beautifully shot diary, Olivia’s photographs depict a nostalgic coming of age narrative. Her visual stories are what everyone can relate to.

Though only 16, almost 17, Olivia has done more in the past year than most. Discovered by Converse, by way of her highly visited Flickr site, Olivia has shot for Converse, with VSA Partners, Nike 6.0, with 72 and Sunny plus many other clients. Her work has been displayed in numerous magazines including Dazed and Confused, American Photo, Frankie, Seventeen, and Zoom. Olivia has had exhibits all over the world.
