Candace Gelman & Associates Welcomes Emily Hoskins!

Emily Hoskins, former art producer, will become the Midwest Rep for Candace Gelman & Associates. She’ll be based in Chicago and has hit the ground running.

“We work hard, laugh often and put our photographers first,” said Candace Gelman, founder of CG&A.  “Emily has valuable experience from multiple roles in the industry and understands what art producers and buyers are looking for in new and established talent. Her enthusiasm in combination with her experience brings expertise in what we’re asking her to do and valuable perspective about what works and what doesn’t with clients, with agencies and with photographers.”

Emily will be responsible for driving growth for CG&A, and working closely with the agency’s San Francisco, Chicago and NYC offices with a strong focus on Midwest-based opportunities.

“CG&A is one of the most well respected agencies and has an excellent ambition of wanting to be the best.  I’ve always been inspired by the authentic work of artists on the roster and I’m honored to be asked to help celebrate their unique vision and style,” said Emily. “I’m excited to be a part of an agency with genuine passion for connecting art to commerce. It’s a great honor.”

Emily spent five years as art producer and digital asset manager at Upshot and VSA Partners, both in Chicago.  During which, she has gained experience with clients including; IBM, P&G, New Balance, Crown Imports, Kraft Foods, Johnson & Johnson, Post and Subway.  Earlier in her career, she was photo editor for an Austin based magazine and studio manager for a commercial photographer.
