KOZOWYK’s Department of Defense Project in ARCHIVES 200 BEST

KOZOWYK’s Award winning project for the Department  of Defense with MULLEN Advertising makes it into Archives 200 Best!

I wanted to share the story behind the award-wining image.

We traveled around the globe photographing the troops for 2 years, capturing personnel across the different branches at work and at play.  It was such a amazing experience, I am so honored to work with and alongside such great people. Plus who dosn’t want to ride around on an amphbious tank?

The first shot is the featured spread in Archive, the next two are production pictures from our helicopter in Camp Pendleton, CA.

Christopher Wilson Captures the Spirit of Amor da Terra and Makes it into Archive 200 Best

Christopher recently shot the North American launch of an accessories line from Brazil called Amor da Terra, which translates as “love of the earth”. Christopher was inspired by the organic quality of the all natural materials used in these jewels and channeled that raw energy into the styling for this shoot.

I was inspired by the Ethiopian tribes who paint their bodies with mud as well. We used bits of coral and grass to create corsets, as well as hemp for the headpieces. Everything was done with elements found in nature, like the jewelry”.

Archive recognized the amazing quality of this series of images and will be featuring them in Archive 200 Best Advertising Photographers, in addition to Christopher’s work for the Lakeshore Foundation.
