The Photo Editors at Time featured an amazing collection of Olivia’s personal projects, accompanied by a Q&A session between Olivia and fellow young creative, Tavi Gevinson— providing us with a glimpse into Olivia Bee’s world and the intimate moments of teen life.

Olivia Bee and Christian Kozowyk had their images hand-picked for Zara’s “Dear America” campaign— a collection of 50 photographs uniquely representing each of the 50 states, specially curated to celebrate the U.S. launch of the online Zara shop.
“Dear America” comes in the form of an online exhibition, as well as a printed set of postcards that were sent to fashion press across the country. We love this beautiful love letter from Zara, and are thrilled that Olivia and Christian were asked to be a part of it!

We are so excited to tell you about Rookie magazine, which just launched this weekend. Rookie is a project created by 15-year-old fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson, and is a creative outlet featuring ideas and visual inspiration for independent-minded young women. Our very own Olivia Bee is one of the many talented ladies on board this exciting collaborative endeavor!
For the debut issue, themed “Beginnings”, Olivia contributed a photo diary: “Goodbye to Summer“. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the images, but be sure to visit Rookie to view the rest of Olivia’s work, as well as all the other great content from these very creative ladies. Last year, Olivia Bee captured the lifestyle shots in the Fall/Holiday 2010 Look Book for Nike 6.0 Women’s Collection. Now, Nike 6.0 recently released an awesome collection of sportswear pieces inspired by the colors and textures found in Olivia’s photography. Very cool.
Olivia was in Toronto earlier this summer capturing production stills for the new season of Degrassi, which beautifully showcases her signature style.
