Christopher was inspired by the organic quality of the all natural materials used in these jewels and channeled that raw energy into the styling for this shoot.

Says Christopher, “My idea was to literally play off the name and tribal sensibility of the products, by painting the models in colors of dried mud. I was inspired by the Ethiopian tribes who paint their bodies with mud as well. We used bits of coral and grass to create corsets, as well as hemp for the headpieces. Everything was done with elements found in nature, like the jewelry”.

Archive recognized the amazing quality of this series of images and will be featuring them in Archive 200 Best Advertising Photographers, in addition to Christopher’s work for the Lakeshore Foundation.
