Olivia Bee’s photography speaks to intimate moments and nostalgic memories, providing inspiration to perfumers like Ulrich Lang. His scent, Aperture, is inspired by one of Olivia’s images. So it’s only fitting that French fragrance retailer, Nose, is showing an exhibition of Olivia’s work in their Paris boutique. The show is going on now through December 17.

To make the experience even sweeter, Olivia’s works are also on view until December 20 at Galerie du Jour agnès b. in the the group show, “l’ intime.” If you’re in the Paris area, be sure to check it out both shows!

Hosted by the Chicago Photographic Society, Paul Elledge will be speaking at ProCenter Camera Thursday evening 11/20, 6-9 PM. He’ll be showing work, discussing his process, and fielding questions. This is a great opportunity to get an inside view of a veteran artist’s photographic practice!

We’re excited to announce that Olivia Bee’s fine art images will be a part of The Fashion Show— a group exhibition of fashion photography, spanning nine decades of work by leading women photographers— at the Weinstein Gallery in Minneapolis.

What an honor to have Olivia’s participation in such a seminal, groundbreaking exhibition of work, representing the importance of the female eye on fashion.

The gallery opening is tonight, Friday November 7, from 6-8 pm. If you’re in the Minneapolis area, please come and celebrate these photographic visionaries!
