Want to say thanks to the whole crew for making it super fun. Project was focused on real people who are living active lives. The team wanted to capture real life stories so we got to dance salsa, use the pool and shoot hoops, drink coffee,  as well as getting some great images! Can’t ask for more than that!

I wanted to share the story behind the award-wining image.

We traveled around the globe photographing the troops for 2 years, capturing personnel across the different branches at work and at play.  It was such a amazing experience, I am so honored to work with and alongside such great people. Plus who dosn’t want to ride around on an amphbious tank?

The first shot is the featured spread in Archive, the next two are production pictures from our helicopter in Camp Pendleton, CA.
